Monster of the Week is a standalone action-horror RPG by Evil Hat Productions for 3-5 people ran on the simplified Powered by the Apocalypse system. Hunt high school beasties a la Buffy the Vampire Slayer, travel the country to bring down unnatural creatures like the Supernatural Winchester brothers, or head up the government investigation like Mulder and Scully.

From the DM:

Do you like campy TV shows like Buffy, Supernatural, X-Files, Scooby Doo? Perfect, then you already know how to play this game. You are part of a team that hunts down monsters, ghosts, aliens and other weird stuff. Very easy to play and the players help create the story alongside the Keeper (GM). I will walk everyone through creating your own character and have everything you might need to play. Hope to see you at the table.

This game will be a one-shot ran as part of our October Halloween RPG Horror Month. Anticipate 2-4 hours of gameplay.

Admission:

$10, with $5 back as store credit*
October only: $2 off admission when you show up in a costume!**

*$5 of entry price is put onto the customer’s account as store credit, which may be used at any time to purchase snacks, merchandise, or future event admission.
Costume/cosplay does not have to be related to the game you are playing. Anyone considered profane or offensive will be asked to change and/or leave.
