Learn to Play Dungeons & Dragons (5e)

New to Dungeons & Dragons or tabletop roleplaying altogether? Rally forth and join us as we host a learn to play session of D&D with Dungeon Master Travis! This is an open session in which you will be taught some of the core fundamentals of tabletop roleplaying games (aka TTRPGs) and the world of D&D. You will have the opportunity to get a feel for the game mechanics, how to make a character, and explore the game with a fresh audience in which you can ask questions and learn together.

This is a free to join event, but as with any service, you are always welcomed to tip your DM at the end should you want to support your host!

Players of all skill levels are always welcome to the table – even if you’re not new to D&D and just want to brush up on a few skills or get familiar with the 5e system. We also offer our Cloudveil Adventures Guild at the store as an open-invite 5e ongoing one-shot campaign for those looking to play a regular session of D&D.

All materials to play can be provided during this session, but you are welcome to bring an RPG 7-piece dice set, journal for keeping character and game notes, and/or 5e character sheet if you wish. Snacks and refreshments are available to purchase, or players may bring in their own to enjoy during the game.
