The Brindlewood Bay Murder Mavens in the case of: “Have yourself a Merry Little MURDER”

Join guest DM Chris for “Murder Mavens”, a cozy mystery book club adventure from the Brindlewood Bay/PbtA system, and an early kickoff to our RPG Holiday Special one-shots this year! You and the other ladies of your mystery-solving book club have found a real flesh-and-blood murder to solve, and it’s up to you to gather the clues, compose your murder board, and confront the suspect.

This month is the case of: “Have yourself a Merry Little Murder”.

Hot drinks will be available to purchase, or channel your character early and bring in your own favorite cozy snack to share with your book club! If desired, we also encourage players come with any character accessories (classy or festive lady hats, glasses, shawls, shoulder cardigans, etc) to help further immerse themselves.

A cozy Murder Mystery: Brindlewood Bay is a tabletop roleplaying game that combines Murder, She Wrote with H.P. Lovecraft. In it, you play a group of elderly women, members of the local Murder Mavens Mystery Book Club, who help the authorities solve murder cases in a picturesque New England Town. Over the course of their investigations, they become aware of a dark occult conspiracy that connects the cases, and will eventually have to face that conspiracy in order to save their community.

This game will be ran as part of Mana Cloud’s RPG Holiday Special. Anticipate between 2-4 hours of playtime. Brindlewood Bay is a Powered by the Apocalypse game – a simple-to-learn D6 ttrpg system that takes new players only a few moments to pick up and get going.

Space is limited, first-come-first-serve. Registration is not required to play, but it helps your DM to better prepare, and secures a seat at the table should too many players show up. Conversely a DM may cancel the game that day if it seems it has no players.

Our holiday campaigns are free to play, or pay the optional $20 entrance fee to receive a seasonal mystery dice keepsake to enjoy with your game. As with any service, player’s who’d like to show additional support are welcomed to tip their DM and let ’em know their time is appreciated! New players, cosplay, snacks & the holiday spirit are all welcomed to the table. Or purchase from the available snacks at the store.
